The PADI Rescue Diver program develops your knowledge and skills, so you can confidently and effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level and will develop you into a more self-reliant diver. Although this course is challenging, many divers say this is the best course they've ever taken! Training includes theory sessions, skill training, and realistic scenario practice. Skills include assisting a panicked diver, dealing with an unconscious diver, missing diver searches, and providing emergency oxygen. To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver program, you must have completed Emergency First Response (EFR) or a similar sanctioned program in CPR within the past 24 months, or take it with us at any of our dive centers. Please read and complete the PADI Medical Statement before your arrival. (Must be at least 12 years old and hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or equivalent)
