The Emergency First Response program is a basic medical first aid course that covers training for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), Rescue Breathing, Emergency First Aid, and Secondary Care. As one of the foremost international CPR and first aid training companies, Emergency First Response gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies - not just in the diving world, but in your everyday world with your family, friends, and coworkers. You will learn the skills required to deal with everything from electrical accidents, to road traffic incidents and diving emergencies. The course is approximately 6 hours and includes video, theory, and practical application sessions. This first aid program is a pre-requisite for the PADI Rescue Diver course, but can be completed at any time during your training and is also available to non-divers. Here at Blue Corner Dive, we teach you additional skills of emergency oxygen administration and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) which is now common in airports, hotels, and shopping centers.
